A DJ for ten years and a multi-instrumentalist, I have spent my life watching what music does to a room — and what it does when it lands wide of the mark.
I built Nymbios to help venues get in tune: so that what you hear finally matches what you see, what you are drinking, and the moment you are in.
The journey
Troyes, Paris, Vietnam
I started mixing in Troyes, my hometown. Then Paris. Then Vietnam. Bars, clubs, events — rooms with nothing in common, each asking to be read differently.
I also spent time on the other side of the business, at an artist booking agency: deciding who would play where. That is where you learn that a good set is not only about the music. It is about the room it is played in.
The turning point
Two observations, ten years apart
The question that kept coming back
At the end of every set, the same exchange: “That was great. Could you make us a playlist?” Venues were not looking for a DJ for one night. They were looking for their sound, for all the other days.
The dissonance
And then there is the opposite, which everyone has lived through: you walk in somewhere for a coffee, and a heavy track kicks in — unrelated to the place, the hour, or the people in it. You feel that gap before you can even name it. And you finish your coffee faster.
The conviction
Nymbios is not here to smooth things out
Background music has a bad reputation, and it earned it: too many venues play an interchangeable soundtrack, calibrated to disturb no one. That is not what we do.
Nymbios creates atmospheres, it does not neutralise them. Making them singular, making them move, making them live at the rhythm of the venue and the people in it.

Emotion first
Music is an emotional language. It moves, soothes, lifts and brings people together.
Respectful atmosphere
A less noisy, more harmonious world, where every sound has its place and respects the space.
Nothing generic
No two venues ever sound alike. A Nymbios atmosphere resembles nothing but the venue it was composed for.
